Hi everyone. So I finally have a functioning website. I just need to add more content to the site but I have the template for everything I want to make, done. It was a lot of work and I learned a lot along the way. I’m using WordPress on the back end. I had to install a bunch of plugins to do the custom stuff I wanted. So what are some of the things the website can do? Well:
I have a shop! That’s right. I can actually sell things through my website now. You can buy with Paypal, google pay, stripe or you can just put in your card details. I’m using a third party website to fulfill all my Print on Demand items and I’m shipping my own original artwork myself too. Man, sorting out the prices for shipping was a nightmare but I think it’s all sorted now and I can ship all over the world. So the shop is up and running. I just need to add more items and descriptions etc.
I have my animations uploaded to a page on the site.
I also have a comic page for Glitch Out. The webcomic plugin i’m using seems to get confused when I try to add more than one comic which is annoying so I guess I’m just going to be putting Glitch Out pages on there and nothing else. I’m working on a short manga style comic at the moment but I think I’ll just self publish that through Amazon KDP when it’s done rather than giving it away for free.
I also got my Newsletter form up so you can subscribe to my Newsletter to get notified of what I’ve been working on. I’m trying to build a mailing list of people who are interested in what I make.
I also have a contact form on the home page for people who might want to commission me.
